The Edge on the Competition

The 2007 Ford Edge successfully marks Ford's entry into the crossover vehicle segment. Just in case you didn't know what a crossover vehicle is, here's an explanation; it's simply an SUV body bolted onto a car frame. In this case, the 2007 Edge sits on a Ford Fusion/Mazda 6 frame. The Edge drives like a car, seats five and thanks to a 'flexible-use' interior design, it has an extraordinary amount of cargo space.

If you are looking for a model upgrade from the Ford Edge, the Lincoln MKX is the luxury equivalent.

Both vehicles are coming soon to Central Ford Lincoln Mercury in South Beloit.
